White Hart Folk Club
"the little Club with the big atmosphere...."
Some of the clan (Steve Crackett, Jim Wilkinson, Rachel
Crackett and Mu Wilkinson)
The White Hart Folk Club runs every Saturday night at the White Hart Inn, Mickleby, North Yorkshire, from 8.30pm - 11.30pm, except for
the two weekends of the Black Bull Benders (usually the first weekends in
June and September).
The entry fee to the Club is always £1, whether it's a singers
and musicians night or we have a guest booked.
We have a varied and increasing selection of regulars, and new attenders are always made very welcome. The club is closed May 31st and August 30th for the Black Bull Benders and of course all are welcome to come and have a good sing there.
The 2007 Black Bull Benders raised £6700 which we presented to St Catherine's hospice, Scarborough and Butterwick Hospice, Stockton, at a special Sunday session of the White Hart Folk Club (ask around the September Bender or watch the website for a date). Thanks to all who came and supported us at both Bender Weekends.
Any wanting to come from farther a field are always invited to stay B&B at Jim & Mu's with a free ride to the club. Contact then at 01947 840 546.
Please note the contact for the club is Rachel Crackett 0191 291 1113 (email: rachelcrackett@hotmail.com).
The club however is still generally run by Jim & Mu.
